Dear fellow FSH boaters,

After having some QC issues on my '17 FSH, most of which I have posted on the forum, I decided to write a letter to the WaterCraft Group President, Dean Burnett, outlining the issues and steps I took to resolve them. It was not a nasty letter and spoke of my desire to continue to be a Yamaha boat owner.

This week I was contacted by a Customer Service Representative by phone who followed up on my letter, point by point, and asked for more pictures, which I happily provided. She was asking the questions directly from the manufacturing floor management and needed more details.

In addition, today I received a letter from the President which is attached.

Whether nor not this actually results in change, and I hope it does, it's a positive reaction to constructive criticism, not a defensive one. Let's hope there are good ears on the other end that listen and enact our solutions to the issues we see.

I've been lucky to meet many of the Yamaha boating leaders and I can say they really do want to deliver the best boat possible-every time!

In the past I have emailed about problems members (multiple) were having, and often they said they'd seen the thread and were taking action to address.

Hope springs eternal. Kudos to any corporation still wanting to deliver a better product and actively listen to consumers input.

Wow, great job reaching out to Yamaha.
Thank you.
