Before winter or in the spring ? And why?

Okay but realistically how often do they say to change your plugs? Are we being over anal here?? Boats and jet ski milage is super low. How could plugs go bad in a couple year time period?
The primary reason for changing your plugs is to ensure you CAN change them! If you leave the in there and they corrode into place you'll regret it. These engines are pretty sensitive to fouled/dirty plugs....so it is cheap insurance. Add to that the #3 plug rusting issue, and you have another reason to put new ones in with some anti-sieze.
