We crossed the FL state line about 5 min ago on I-75

Looks like @Tyler and crew have beat us there.

@tim2808, @upperdeck, @DieselCamel, do you guys have a plan for where to stay tonight? I am planning to stop for the night an hour or two north of Fort Lauderdale.

We booked an extra night, tonight, at Bahia Mar. $150 a night on hotels.com!

Tailwinds and smooth seas to all of you! I will raise my glass and say a toast for all you Biminians!

I wish I lived on the east coast to give you a place to sleep!

@Bruce I have been thinking of it. The only thing holding me back IS my back (L4&5) ! I am having a tough time sitting for more than 10 minutes.

We are checked in room 1407!!

@tim h and I are staying with friends and relatives at The Villages, four hours from Ft. Lauderdale. Upperdeck has an appointment at 1pm to be launched. We will be checking in to the hotel after that and then probably hitting the Pirate Bar before Bokampers.

Our group reservation at Bokampers may be slightly delayed due to the USA World Cup game.

All, have not posted in a few days since my accident. For the most part made it to bimini, through customs, and to great harbour cay by sunset without any issues. Got up the next morning, headed around the top of the berry islands and ran into some serious chop. Winds coming straight into the port side. Just turned around and went back to great harbour cay marina, checked weather, and decided to fly to great exuma to be with the family. Going back to get the boat Tuesday. Hang out around berry islands through Thursday and off to see you guys Friday. Let's hope the last part if the trip goes smooth. Seas down here are so smooth. Just wish I had the boat. I am sure I made the right decision and plan to finish strong. You guys be safe!!!

We are here at the Bahia Mar. See you guys tomorrow! Safe travels. The state patrol was out big time on 75. I saw 17 troopers with people pulled over on one 5 mile stretch and a few in waiting. And here I thought they were bad in Ohio! Good luck!

We are stopping in Fort Pierce for the night. See you guys tomorrow.

Here are the current forecasts for departure and return

@Tyler sent the following message from Bimini

No fuel anywhere, including cat cay. Tomorrow they will have an accurate estimate when the barge will come. For now, tues or fri are their guesses.

From @Tyler

They said cat cay has now stopped serving fuel as there isn't enough to keep their generators running for much longer.

Bimini Sands front desk says that when the fuel runs out they will lose power.
