Bimini 2014-June 22

Can we park trailers at Bahai Mar? We are planning to leave Friday and be there on Sunday as well.

The hams go in the smoker tomorrow morning!

If I recall correctly, the parking was outrageously expensive, like $30/day for just your trailer. And, there is no launch at Bahia Mar either.

@Bruce you can park at your truck/trailer at the Bahia Mar. There is no ramp at Bahia Mar the closet ramp I believe is at 15th Street which is just north of where we are going to get gas. Harbour Towne has security and has been safe the 2 times I have used it.

We plan on being at the ramp between noon and 1 pm on Sunday, it depends on how fast we do our final grocery shopping.

Agree Bahia mar was big $$ ... harbor towne was $8 a day I believe and patrolled. I had no reservation seeing the truck/trailer in the boats mirror.

Just saw this on Hull Truth... Festivities at Bimini Sands for the Guy Harvey Tourney next weekend...

Artist Bobby Little finished the 30' Marlin to be set ablaze for the Beach Bash Bonfire. It's on it's way from Rum Cay to Bimini now! It's so big we couldn't ship it on the mail boat so we used a decommissioned Coast Guard cutter... Check it out!

If you just want a social ticket for the parties its, $50 for Friday's bonfire and cocktail party and $75 for Saturday pig roast and awards ceremony.

I plan to leave the truck and trailer at harbor town. Was considering arriving at Bahai Mar Saturday night.

I am going to bring my home made underwater wing for anyone to us. I used the wing some during our 2011 trip but never got that good at it, think we were going to slow. If you are not sure what an underwater wing is here is a video,

I like Sailflow's forecast better!

I was considering bringing my Wind Surfer... But not sure if I can secure it to the boat very well.Gonna check into that tonight.
Anyone interested in trying it out ?
I just bought it late last summer and haven't tried it yet.

Honeymoon Harbor or out in front of condo's would be a good place to wind surfer. If you have it I would be willing to try it but don't bring it just for me.

so I am trying to figure out the GoPro and the software on the GoPro I borrowed today. overall easy to use but I think the biggest conclusion I have found is that my work computer sucks for editing. I need more horsepower!!! Brand new Lenovo, i7 processor, only 4 gig ram and a solid state hard drive... still doesn't cut it with video. Crap... can we push back the submission deadline until maybe Christmas... :arghh: :banghead:

Just got back from some shopping, now I am ready to party. This is South Carolina produced moonshine in regular and apple pie flavor with plenty of mini-me red cups for sharing. This is not the super strong stuff, the regular is 105 proof and the apple pie is 45 proof.
