Website for the marine lists that they open at 6:30 AM on Monday. We need to call to confirm that time (on a Webinar now so I can;t call ).

If that is the case and we want to get out early, maybe we need to have full tanks Sunday night??? Will this get in the way going to Bokampers?

I am not fearful of going out early, but Andy makes a great point, we are sacrificing safety if you can't see the seas you are hitting. Maybe we need to get out at 6:00 so we clear the channel by 6:30.

this charting is still way to dynamic.... The timing on it 12UTC (noon universal or GMT)...is our 7am right?.

my neighbor is a local TV weather guesser. They can;t predict 3 hours out sometimes. We are in the prediction window though so anxious to see how it plays out the next several days..

Bokampers time can be moved up. We chose 7pm to make sure everyone could be there in case there were any late arrivals. I was told 6am is when they open the fuel dock. This is the departure time we had last year and they were open when we arrived.

That being said, we could move up departure to 5:30am to be johnny on the spot when the fuel docks open at 6. by the time we do a roll call to make sure everyone is ready to depart, and then get to the fuel dock, we could easily lose a half hour. But, I also don't think the forecast is accurate enough yet to justify that plan.

Rain is not an issue, thunderstorms are. 5 or 6 foot waves are not a problem either, unless they are stacked on top of one another.

Just to show how fast the forecast is changing, Sailflow was showing 3 to 5 footers for the 23rd this morning and calm 1 foot seas this evening.

OK, new Bimini Challenge to the applicable travelers......

I submit a GOPRO challenge !! I believe there is a decent number of us with a GOPRO in hand on this trip. Lets mark a time of say 1 month after the trip to compile, post a youtube video of YOUR experience and captures. we can submit it to the audience here at JB.net within a POLL and give it "x" time for votes, we could combine votes with youtube hits...or anything anyone wants to do......

A fair amount of folks here follow this thread and may inspire a boat count into the 20's for 2015.....plus, I love my new GOPRO and want my kids to start using it more !!

we can play for pride over prize...or spoilers paypal the victor $5......someone may get a new set of sparkplugs out of it !!

I'm in! Great idea! Bring it on JB'ers....

Just got my bobber and have a gopole EVO on the way. Also got the red filter for underwater shooting. I hope to put together and Kevin and Corrie type series. (Although it wont touch theirs unless we head to Exuma!)

On a side note, one other thing I'm going to bring is an extra bearing buddy or two. Have had some trailers issues already this year.

Count me in, I am always up for a good challenge. Also, it will force me to work on the videos/pictures after we get back. I still have not processed my pictures for our trip to Mexico in April.

I recall the staff spraying the area for mosquito's via fogger on the back of a tractor throughout the facility. I did not notice the mosquito's as too bad in the immediate area of the condo......When walking the nature trails and the road down to the shark lab they were substantial.....and this is coming from a hardcore New Englander...

they werent too bad when snorkeling
