Not sure if it has been noted before. I searched quickly and didn't find anything. I noticed on my keys trip no matter how tight I made the front strap on my Bimini it wouldn't stop flapping and and making noise and chewing into metal hook. I found out if I twist the strap (spiral) it like 4 times no more noise or flapping. Thought I would share to maybe help someone else.

I agree that it works well!

Thanks for sharing.

Cool .. have had the same issue. gonna try this!

Yup...that is a good trick to point out....just takes 2 twists and buzzing from the wind goes away!

I have been twisting Bimini straps for 20 years, only way to get rid of the noise, plus it helps tighten them up if they need a little tightening.

twisting straps a couple time takes the vibration away...alot of truckers do this when fastening loads for transport.

Thanks for the info @2nazt. Those straps flapping drive me and my wife crazy.

Thanks for the info. I have the same problem.

Thanks for the thread revival my OCD makes me hate twists in straps but not as much as that buffeting.?
