From a 2018 210 FSH. I lost one. Tried to use the black piece. It isn’t happy with it. Where can I find a replacement white piece for on top of the spring?

I tried searching threads and found nothing on point. Apologies if this has been discussed before. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Howdy!

I’ve never see that piece sold separately .. you may have to buy the whole plug assembly to do the replacement.

Crazy! Like 3d print it? What measurements are best - metric or standard? I’ll try to find a micrometer.

No, I'll make it on a lathe. Inches please. Don't forget the depth of the hole.

That part is not available separately for sale, in all of my looking.

What do you mean when you said "Tried to use the black piece. It isn’t happy with it."?

If that piece doesn't work, it would help to know the why behind it, and any other information, such as a photo comparison to the white plastic piece. Seems like a piece that has no real physical issues outside of comparable size requirements would work, so what's the issue with the black piece? @Exciter 220 may need that info in order to make something that's not another "isn't happy with it" piece. It looks like it'd be easy enough to 3d print a replacement piece, but again...

If you have dimensions in millimeters, and perhaps some pics of the base/bottom of the white piece, that's the best format for 3d printing, not sure which one would be better for @Exciter 220 to turn that on the lathe.

@Exciter 220 - I couldn’t find a micrometer. Do these pics work?

@drewkaree - the black piece is a soft rubber end cap and doesn’t extend the same. It might even be dragging and worse than nothing.

I've been re-arranging my shop and everything is a mess. I was able to find my Delrin material, which is what this should be made of. I would prefer to work from accurate measurements so as to get it right the first time.
