Favorite Summer Beer?

When I can find it... This is refreshing.

Free cold beer is my favorite

We just got ACE Pineapple Hard Cider in our local growler pub. Goes down too easy...

Thanks for all of the replies to this thread. A good variety out there. I think cold and free is the best but have to say I have tried and liked most of what was posted. I will have to give that texas gold a try sometime as well. For an added twist for the shandy lovers out there I just saw an add for a grapefruit shandy by travelers beer company. Beware of grapefruit and medication as @txav8r pointed out though.

Enjoy those cold ones and avoid those hold my beer and watch this moments.

I'm a Big Fan of Corona Light w/added "Real Lime Juice" as my usual drink. LK's Summer Shandy is good too along with some Coors Light Citrus or occasional Bud Light Lime's. One of my favorite beers is Traveler's Jolly. I'm a huge fan of sampling local brews from new places though! @BAC.94 (Josh)...I'll have some Three Floyd's for you if you make it up this way anytime soon! :winkingthumbsup"

Awesome! I have a liquor store near the lake that holds any Zombie Dust for me till I can get there and pick it up. I have a 6 pack waiting for me right now!:)

Staying local: Red Hare SPF 50/50

Has a little more bite than Summer Shandy but still quite refreshing. The grapefruit IPA's seem to be popular this season.

Red Hare! I really like their Long Day Lager.

Staying local, I tried Sweetwater's Goin Coastal the other night, and it was pretty good. IPA with pineapple.

I stick to Bud Light Lime in the summer and regular Bud Light the rest of the year. I know I need to expand my palate when it comes to beer.

Sam Adams Porch Rocker is good for the summer.

My neighbors have been drinking Stiegl Radler...it is really tasty...and fortunately for me...they bring me some on the boat! :-) :winkingthumbsup"

some else mentioned bud light lime

that is a tasty beer during hot days....

Two of my summer favorites from Abita. Their Purple Haze is always available and one of my year-round staples.

Dale's Pale Ale
Modus Hoperandi
Tupps IPA
Deep Ellum IPA

Local brew and it's my current favorite. It's not a seasonal beer as it can be had year round. Had to bring some down to the Gulf since most places won't have it.
