JetBoaters.net Bimini Fling July 9th to 14th 2018

A shark wanted the squid I was holding for the rays. I did not see which shark it was but felt the tug and pulled my hand out of its mouth.

Initially I thought it was the friendly nurse shark but whatever bit me had sharp teeth so it may have been the small lemon.

It is ok to laugh, we are.
Bummer on the finger bite, but glad 4 U that is not worse. I put the guilty verdict on the nurse shark, seen them do same to someone else in Exumas that was holding the bait with the fingers and they go crazy when chunks are thrown in the water. Had a 7 footer I was petting knock me down like a rag doll when he saw or smelled the bait. Beautiful, powerful creatures.

My bet is on the Nurse shark too....they have small sharp teeth for grabbing their food...if you pull out they dig in deeper. This video is an example of what not to do with them:

@JROD, It was great to see you and the wife again! Earl really enjoyed meeting you both and enjoyed the Army brotherhood exchanged. Be safe and have fun on your 800 mile journey!
@Bruce, Thank you for everything! My guest thank you as well for making them feel a part. Enjoy and safe travel for you and the fam.
Eric, great to see U 2 and to meet your friends. Cheers & All the best!

I wonder if it would have been better not to pull my hand back? Certainly not going to test the theory.

Hind sight is always 20/20....but you probably would have been better to keep your hand still and let her spit it out, but damned near impossible to do when a wild animal has your hand in its mouth!

Urologist tomorrow morning, we'll see what he says.

Looks like you all will have great seas for the crossing on Saturday. Keep those cameras rolling, I need to see what I missed out on! :winkingthumbsup"

so many great shots, its going to take a long time to try and stitch everything together

I'm finally home over 4000 miles put on the truck all with a trailer

The narrow channel to and from Resort’s World, the opportunity to find a large yacht, running the middle of the channel, making huge wake and the shallow sides where you would bottom out in that wake if you try to wait it out are some of my favorite things about Resorts World. I imagine the yacht captains find this quite funny.

This is the second time I have had this experience. Have others had this fun?

Sorry about the upside down video. I plan to fix that when I get home.

As the Army would say, “airborne!”

Juan, is that your Airborne flag on the Sapona?
Yes! I put it up there to honor and in memory of my two fallen 82ND ABN DIV brothers, 1SG Mike the hammer Bordelon and MSG Edwin Matos. Next year I 'll be better prepared to mount it properly on high bow of the Sapona.

OH NO the screaming bodyless bird! LOL! 2 me, anyone that serves my beloved USA is a brother regardless of designation or unit association. ABN ATW!
