My 2016 Yamaha 242X thread....(MORE photos added 6/14/19)

I am thinking of visiting it this weekend! I don't think prep includes oil...it does include unloading from the truck, batteries and installing them, raising the tower, installing seat cushions, and cleaning, and testing the all the functions - which all told takes 8 hours....

My dealer credited me a good price on the 2 OEM batteries and allowed me to bring to them the 2 (better) batteries I wanted installed.
I went with AGM's from Sears

I went to the dealer to photo and video mine coming off the truck. Kinda weird but how many times I. You life will you buy a brand new boat! I was lucky in that a friend happen to see the truck on the highway and said he saw a big black and white Yamaha on th truck so I boogied down to the dealer only 20 minutes away. As far as purchases the Stoltz and keel guard would by #1 and 2 for me. My bow was also scratched just from the drive home from the dealer. I've seen a couple people on here that have ripped their keel OFF hitting something in the water, I think the keel guard may have helped. Some said they barely felt the hit.

@Julian 's conversation to his dealer ;) :D :D

... and the dealer says back "Yes Julian, it's here!!! We're prepping your shiny new SX190 right now." :woot:

You might need the boat in Dallas.....

Ya, we could break it,...I mean break it in for you.

We can see how many jetboaters.net members we can fit on it at once.

Yeah, y'all could probably pick it up and float it right down here to pick me up. I think Dallas is going to be shoreline shortly.

Wow, this is all happening so fast!

Congrats @Julian

@Julian Are you going to bring your camping gear down to the shop so you can keep an eye on your baby all weekend?;)

Hummm.....interesting idea! I was thinking of going down there to look at her longingly...but I think I'll resist (I was hoping to have my stoltz bow roller in by now...but shipping was slow, so that, the tire cover and name application will have to wait!
