New jet boater

First I thank you all for the help you have already given me. I have been searching and reading this site for the last 8 weeks or so. For misc fixes and to get inspiration for our boat. Taken the family out a few times already and we are loving the benefits of our boats. Looking for a good mechanic in NW Florida. I live just east on the Pensacola area if anyone has any contacts.

You'd be surprised how easy these boats are for owners to maintain-and with the members of this site, you have a ton experts to fall back on!!! (But I understand there are times when it is worth it to just have someone else handle it!)

Thanks. Yeah ive come to see how resourceful this page and the members are. Really just for the "I hate this boat moments" that come with anything that has an engine or electrical. I think I've found a guy through some family friends last night!

I'm hoping you don't have any "I hate this boat" moments....I recall those from my I/O days....never had one with my 4 Cyle Yamaha (knock on wood)!!! (my old LX210 which I bought new, did blow and engine within weeks of taking ownership...but Yamaha and the dealer replaced in quickly and never had an issue after that-Yamaha determined the engine had a bad bearing from the factory)
