Was able to get out for a shakedown run and sunset cruise this weekend. Water was glass - this was my favorite shot! Air temp was around 55 degrees and the water temp was reading 45. Everything sounded normal and ran great. Hit 45 mph on a full tank with both my wife and I onboard. Excited for this season!

Wanted to get the boat out and make sure all was good before summer finally gets here. I installed the Ridesteady and stereo goodies plus changed the oil and spark plugs. I started to get anxiety at having goofed around so much with my boats wiring and doing my own maintenance that if I screwed something up I wouldn’t be able to fix it or get it fixed until summer was half over ?. Needless to say……everything worked like a charm…..the throttle sync with the ridesteady makes the twin sticks like having a normal throttle and the stereo can be heard clearly at wfo. Time to clean it all up and get the ceramic on. Don’t know when we’ll get back out as our forecast shows rain as far as it shows the future.
My wife and I took our Waverunners to what was supposed to be a lunch on the water. After riding an hour and approximately 35 to 40 miles we found an empty space where the floating restaurant used to be. Later that night we saw this on YouTube.
We ended up going back to port, trailering our Waverunners home and driving into town for a late lunch/early dinner. The meal for two was about $50. We burned about $105 in fuel ($100 in the Waverunners and $5 in the car/hybrid).
