OK-Great test but I have some constructive criticism I got the message but no information. I may not have internet access on the lake or where I am so I think it would be a good idea to have admin to include the message with the forward. Also for us in distress keep it short. I would suggest start with this in the message.
1. "[USERGROUP=9]@HELP[/USERGROUP]"
2. Severity of the problem (i.e. Emergncy, On the water question, or test of system)
3. State and Town, Lake or River,
4. Phone number
5. Location on the body of water (North South East West or GPS location)
6. Tell us the problem-briefly.

Something to consider.

Yep no phone numbers unless it is in a PM Thanks for message it got through!

[USERGROUP=9]@HELP[/USERGROUP] on water first time out. I have no wake speed. When I throttle up the engines just rev and it doesn't seem like the impellers are in engaging? They are spimmging at no wake speed. It's not the buckets. Checked those.

Any ideas. Worked when I put it away for the season.

Holly shit Joe, this is funny as hell.. I took my 242 out yesterday for the first time and did the exact same thing.. Got off the trailer and limped to the dock to load everyone. Could not figure out what the hell was going on. So I popped the engine compartment and stood there looking like a fucktard trying to figure out what the hell was going on. Was about to load back up on the trailer and finally he lightbulb went off and locked the plugs in... That won't happen again ;-)

Ths is funny because it just happened to me Friday. I was taking my dad out on the lake for his first time and when I splashed the boat I went to maneuver to the dock and had vey little thrust... couldnt figure it out but made it to the dock then it hit me... CLEAN OUT PLUG!!! I seriously doubt this will be the last time I do something like that but it was the excitement of getting out on the water for the first time.. water temp was still a balmy 57 s I stayed dry but I am so ready for sun and fun!
