I am curious how many miles off shore, if at all, fellow 210 FSH owners feel comfortable taking their boats. Other boat owners feel free to share their comfort level also.

Going to Bimini (52 miles or so) at the center point we are 26 miles from the nearest land, over some seriously deep water!

I have taken my 07 sx230 35 miles from shore. I felt safe and comfortable. But I have been doing it for many years with many different types of boats.

I’ve been 35 miles Offshore here in NC in a 15 foot Boston Whaler. Lol. Was a blast! Prob 2 foot seas at 5 seconds. Rough ride that day.
I plan on taking my 210 FSH at least that far

This is really a question of conditions for a given day. The distance doesn’t bother me, but weather and waves will! That being said I wouldn’t hesitate to go offshore as far as 30% of my tank would take me! Meaning on a good day at average cruise speed is about 35 miles in our boats. A crossing is somewhat different as long as where you’re going has fuel available.

Loved the rough stuff out in a 15' Whaler. Was my dive boat for years on the Lake in the 80's. Great boat.

Other than chartered trips, I have never did any offshore boating so I guess I am a little nervous about it. My primary experience is inland lakes so not too sure what to expect with ocean waves, even on a calm day, compared to that. I will probably stick to the bays before venturing out into the ocean.
