Looks like a real boat. Google tells me it was shown at the Japan International Boat Show in 2017:

Fancy... looks like someone shipped it over?

I like it!

i like that layout and space design for an outboard.

I thought that was only an Asian market boat. I wonder what it costs to ship that in from Japan.

Imagine having to order parts?

Anyone notice their Exult yacht lineup? 36 footer starts at $675,000! Dual Volvo ips 500s! Plus Mitsubishi anti rolling gyro. Plus, it looks like the swim deck can be lowered too. 030613-yamaha-exult36-ssx.jpg Crazy for a 36 footer!

Pretty standard Yamaha outboards, so any service center can work on them. The boat itself probably uses pretty standard components as well just like our boats. So many parts are similar. The odd shapes and designs you would only worry about if you had an accident and needed replacements for body work.

I agree with the other post, those are not jet outboards, even though you cannot tell from the top half. There would be no purpose to use jets on a boat of that size. I'm more surprised, they didn't use a flagship outboard like the big Yamahas outboards. But keeping in mind, this is probably a 2017 model, and was powered with current technology of the time.

Wonder if a Yamaha factory employee has anything to do with that? Vonore isn't far from N Georgia.
