Recently purchased a Scarab 195id, with 200hp Rotax (single). Will be storing it until May 2020. Curious if anyone else has this engine and if it enough to pull a water skier. We went with this size engine as we don't need to go super fast, and were told we could still reach speeds between 40-45 mph. Thoughts?

Thank you
Brian

According to boattest.com the Open ID with 250hp tops out at 42, so I doubt your boat will go any faster.

I'm sure someone with one with give you real use numbers.

Welcome and congrats!
