Man, still too cold inside for us. We/she likes it more tropical.

74° inside and the zone is calling for more. Only +16° outside here though.

This one's gonna hit you everywhere you're warm. When we went up for sturgeon drinking, we had to grab some stuff from our 3-season house (staying with a 4-season neighbor). My inside temp was your outside temp!

This is what I'd expect to see along the North Atlantic where @swatski 's new Parker will be slipped...NOT the Gulf of Mexico around Houston TX. We northerners don't want to see crap like this when we move our boats down there. @Scottintexas @tdonoughue , what say you? Is this real?

Watch out the deck is slippery.

EDIT: Apparently this photo pegged the BS meter...On the "All Things Sailing" FB group.

We just picked up another 8 inches last night........ You southerners are soft ;) Up north we don't even get annoyed till this is a couple feet or more on the ground and that may not be enough. Snow and Ice builds character! Makes the boating season that much sweeter.

Hope @Scottintexas is hanging in there. It's not the snow and ice it's the extreme lows that caught us off guard. Our infrastructure was not built for these temp. Story last night on the news said many of our electric plants never spent the money on proper winterization of equipment because we just don't see temps like this normally. So the power grid is crippled. I know people who have not had power since yesterday early morning and it is now in the low 30's in their house.

@BigN8 Looks like by the weekend the temperatures will be much better, hopefully you all make it through to then.

Morning walk, low of -2, it's 12 now,
We kept power and have half water pressure so very fortunate, drove to the office at dfw at 7am only to find power is out there,

Roads all have at least one lane clean

@buckbuck - seriously, if they anything tell them to call me or they can stay with us
