Gave the ole girl a much needed bath and spray wax. Shined up nicely for being an 11 year old truck! Gave her a much needed oil change too. Just rolled 234k miles :winkingthumbsup"

New trailer tires, to be mounted and balanced this week.
I was toying with the idea of going to R15, 225/75R15 has a lot more choices, but concluded it is just not worth all the work involved and probably marginal, if uncertain, benefits.

Did you buy those online? If so, who had them?

Been trying to find some for the 13's on my 190's trailer, and have almost resolved myself to upgrade to 14's just to get a decent radial tire.

Finishing up day 4 of covid. Im a guy that never gets the flu or fever. I haven't had a fever since I was a child, and I'm 31. My friend came by with the full south American treatment: dried fruits, teas, medicine, vitamins, and chicken soup. Im blessed to have friends like this.

Dude, hope it passes through quick and easy for you. I had it back in December, and it was rough. Worst I've felt from a "sickness" in decades.

Get a pulse oximeter from the drug store. I didn't feel terrible for a portion of the time, but still had O2 readings down into the low 90's a few nights. Worth keeping an eye on IMO. The readers are pretty inexpensive at $20 or so.

Tire Rack
I almost got them on amazon, but I was too slow and they went out of stock.
Buying direct is another option, but the manufacturer only ships to dedicated shops. I wanted my guy to do this, so the tire rack was a great option. They shipped very quickly, almost like o/n.

Quite the stance ya got there. Unsure if it's a height/ergonomics thing, or if you were bracing for something serious coming up.
Yeah, the second station is very awkward to handle but no one really uses it for cruising. I would think - you - in particular would feel very exposed at you height standing on that shallow open deck while riding 40mph in some chop, lol.

Sounds fun for about 10min :)

I've used TireRack for the last 4 sets of tires. They don't have my 13's in a radial.

Debated moving to an LT tire instead of an ST for that reason though.

Keep in mind this is a fishing boat, so comfort features are a distant secondary consideration. You would be hitting that second station steering wheel with your knee, lol, but it is still awesome to have when docking, or trolling, or pulling your lobster traps etc.

This thing provides the level of comfort features of a personnel carrier. And sometime that is what you want.

Three pics taken today while starting to “dewinterize” the boat.
1.Nine used imitation damp rid containers plus a bag of rolls and snacks someone left under the front seat around the end of last September.
2.Battery voltages main and auxiliary. Both batteries have been off the charger for over a month, they are back on it until I try to start the boat up again later this week. Neither engine started today, got the low voltage alarms instead (no pic).

Snow tonight freezing tommorrow then 60's. It is hindering mods and maintenance which i need to finish to get out on the water20210420_184816.jpg

This describes Wisconsin perfectly. 60°, and I am working on my boat in shorts last Saturday, and forecast says it supposed to be in mid 50s and sunny this coming Saturday

Hard water everywhere, too late in April to call it snow. Been so warm, it will be gone tomorrow. It better be, I uncovered the Beneteau. It had just started snowing during the morning walk today.

It dumped all day at a pretty good rate.

The afternoon walk, normally done by my wife, in the same field shown above.

Big accident on the expressway a few miles from where I live - 48 vehicles involved, 38 damaged.

This is how we roll in Wisconsin during the spring.........

. . .. And now I can add jetboaters.net to my local traffic lol I'm headed that way in an hour and a half, might be rerouting!

I just offered to buy this boat for the asking price immediately. I’m 99.999% sure it’s a scam. Part of me wishes it is but another part wishes it isn’t. If it isn’t I may have to take the day off and hit the bank early tomorrow (and my 2010 242 LS will be for sale by next week).
