Wow, I would drive to SF to pick it up and leave now and I would buy it :) Gotta be a scam. Otherwise someone is going to win big if it is in decent condition.

I will but am expecting an email that says something like, am selling it for my son in the service, it’s located out of state and if I pay for shipping my shipping costs will be credited toward the purchase price.

Maybe respond to that with "while it's been hard to get a hold of you, now that we are in contact, we would like to talk to you about your car's warranty"

Here is another ad for the same boat just in a different city.

finally if anyone thinks that the pandemic isn’t driving the cost of used boats to ridiculous levels to check this out. I bet this boat didn’t sell for much more new, 14 years ago.

Not even the same boat in the 2 postings, different towers

@Ronnie I believe it is real. Go get your new boat

Went to check on my new girlfriend right after work, clearly she was lonely.

She is out in the open with no cover... Oh, well, that will be her life - "rode hard and put away wet", lol.

I did install the Edson knob on the second station wheel, that thing is awesome. It is expensive but has two bearings with delrin races, very heavy duty and smooth.

How does it compare to cheapo off brand knobs?

Give your new mistress a hug for me. I know her kind. You also may want to tie her up with a couple of spring lines. She is kinky in that way. ;)

It really just doesn't.
I'll be probably installing another Edson on the main helm, but need to see how I really use it. they are pricey but also "the last knob you will ever need to buy" quality.

@zipper
Looks like a floating dock.
Is a spring line still recommended ?
Spring lines are long (typically from the center cleat to a dock cleat near the bow or stern) and help to keep the boat in position (forwards or backwards); nothing to do with floating. These lines can be "loosely snug" even with a stationary dock.

The docks are concrete slabs, floating, I'm still figuring out the best way to tie up. Part of the reason I was visiting, just to check on things.
I had longer lines crisscrossed but it seems to scuff the sides, not that I care but it is work in progress.

there's no one around to ask for local advice, yet. it's a brand new marina that just opened, we have been incredibly lucky to land a slip here.
It's still mostly empty with only few large sport fishers but starting to fill in for the season, the temps are still in the 30s at night.

As @DeanP said above. The spring lines minimize the forward and aft movement of the boat. They keep the bow off the dock and generally the boat in the same place, within a foot or so depending on slack. I see the spring line in @swatski 's picture above. Another one from the mid dock cleat to the stern cleat on the boat will keep it in place along the finger. Then maybe ease up on the bow and stern lines some, add another bow line to the starboard side and adjust to keep the boat from leaning on the fenders, under most conditions, while in the slip. That is how I tie up our 12,000# Beneteau. If the boat is subjected to waves and wind he may want to add chaffe guards and snubbers to the docklines.

Edit: Keep an eye on the round fenders. If wave action is high enough they could ride up on the dock. I'd hate to see that happen.

Saw the SpaceX launch from my driveway in the TAMPA area...
Took a couple pics but comparatively mine aren't that great. Definitely worth looking up. This was the "contrail" left after it was outta sight.
Pretty impressive watching from so far away and listening to the live broadcast on my phone.D90B8896-B0E1-4FE1-A6BF-7EF1DD02C4F8.jpeg
