My wife and some of her friends went there to visit with my daughter and grandkids when they lived in Iowa, that place looks so awesome!
Yeah, it’s a great place to go to. Next time I’ll be taking a backpack with some water, flashlights(phone lights just don’t cut it), better footwear for hiking and crap clothes for climbing & getting filthy. There are almost no boundaries in this park do you can go check out places off the trail if you want. I would recommend this park for someone looking for a great day.

Removed the decals because they were starting to peel on my 17' ar240. Not sure if I like the clean look or if I'm going to put something else on. For sure getting new registration numbers and moving them more towards the bow. Also took a cruise up to Boca bridge yesterday.20210423_164842.jpg

I see a couple of coyote's crossing the field between the arena and the blueberry field at 10:45am today.

I didnt get a picture, but I witnessed my 120lb wife move a 5000+ lb boat and trailer across our pole barn. Needless to say I am now extremely frightened by her superhuman strength and what she could do to me while I slept. Hahaha

It was a day for the birds, literally. Pelican dropped in 20 yards from shore and snagged a huge fish. By the time I could get out to try and snap a pic, that little bugger was hot footing it away as fast as I was approaching. First pic is just how far away he got (that's my shoreline lower left) , second one is the best I could edit, and you still gotta blow up the pic

This, to me, is SUPER cool and encouraging, I had a visit from TWO bald eagles today. I'm guessing the one in these pics is mom. I couldn't get the younger one, he flew a bit further away, but his coloring points to him being 1-2 years old, and they'll stick around mom a lot for those two years.

First pic is just how close they are, she sat in that tree for over an hour before I decided to take her pic, and then I must have pissed her off, because she took off when I got close - normally, I'd be able to take a ton of pics and they'll stay there the whole time

Fishing can be hard work, trolling for stripers.

What a beautiful day. I could get used to that!

Today we got the right tools for the job: Mojo dual rigs, made by a local guy. Each weighs about a pound which makes for some tricky trolling over shoals. Few more trips and we should be getting the hang of it, and start producing.

Since the wind and rain kept us on land looked up the flight schedule at the neighboring airport and left our campsite at the state park to give the boys a close encounter with a landing passenger jet.

They fly over us on approach and takeoff at the marina all the time, but this was a little more intense. They loved it!

I recently spotted Gray whales off the Southern California coastline while flying my Paramotor.

My dog got sick and this is what I saw at at the emergency vet hospital as I pulled up at 10 at night. The wait for an exam was 5 hours in the parking lot. This isn’t what the media is portraying on the nightly news. They say we are “rounding the corner”, did they forget that cliffs are corners too? Technically it is a hospital so ....

5 hours in the parking lot is ridiculous, you'd think they could get your number and call you 30 minutes before they were ready,

What's wrong with him? how did it turn out ??

She has a herniated disc which resulted in paralysis of her back legs. On meds now but she is hurting and we have made the decision to stop that. I’m in contact with a home euthanasia service now, most of the brick and mortar pet clinics around me don’t allow the pet’s owners to be present / in the room when their pet is ... you know.

this is tmi, but it’s what i saw/found today when emptying the boat out in preparing to maintain, repair and prepare it for the summer, working on the boat is often therapeutic for me.

a new vest purchased for my dog a few months ago. The only water that has touched it so far has been a tear. Didn’t get much done on the boat after i found it.
