Upgraded from a STIHL MS290 w/20”bar to a MS391 w/25” bar today. Cut firewood tonight & so far I love it.

Love the 24” bar on my Husqvarna 575xp. You don’t have to bend over as much while bucking up logs. Makes a big difference with how your back feels the next day. The 20” bar on my 543xp makes you work more than a 24” bar.

A couple of shots from our visit to Lake Willoughby recently. You may be able to tell by the cliffs of Mt. Pisgah, in Westmore, Vt., that the Lake is 300’ deep and crystal clear.
Sidebar-I did my NAUI certs. for altitude diving and deep diving here in 1983.
This time we stayed at the South end of the Lake and saw this.
Did I say Crystal Clear!

This is the public beach on the South end. The clothes optional beach is to the left, no I did not take any pictures there.

No we did not catch any fish as it was too “ruff” for the dogs, both mornings with whitecaps so we never trolled with the downrigger. But we marked areas where we saw fish. We will be back for a day trip without the dogs later. We should have fished at night but the ramp, 25’ of dock and the 6 rig parking lot is not lit up making it difficult on return.

Went to dinner at a friends catamaran on a mooring in Burlington harbor tonight. We went by dinghy. Just for grins and giggles, I brought one of my rods and a Mepps spinner. We tied up and I stayed in the dinghy after my wife went aboard. I made 3 casts off the stern, then turned around and cast one forward about 5’ off his hull and 20’ forward of his bow. Let it sink for a couple of seconds and started retrieving. Reeled about halfway the length of the boat and this nice 18.5” smallmouth bass came out from under the catamaran and took the bait, Landed this tonight then released. Heck of a fight with light tackle.

Right as the picture was taken, it started to squall and this double rainbow appeared.

A good night overall, even though the sunset was lame.

Yea, but I'm trying to cut back.......OH, You meant kids :)

Don't penalize him for not realizing this, go with your idea. There's less backtalk, and in the end, it'll cost less ?

The ladies.... the girls before we launch and my wife as we were linking up
side note, don't mind the handcuffs, my daughter really doesn't want anyone taking her stuffy. It's very important!

Was able to tour this big boy many times growing up close by, glad to see they're moving it for repair, actually taking my youngest to the san jacinto monument this weekend and the battleship was right nextdoor

Upgraded the can lights in our kitchen from bulb to LED.
Well worth the investment and a very quick process, about 5 minutes per can and 5 different LED light intensities.

Flip the switch once, the "mood light halo" turns on.

Flip the switch twice, the regular LED lights turn on.

Love the picture on the back wall. Portland head light? If so that's the place my wife and I got married. And we have the same one up in the house.

I'm curious. Explain this 1 flip 2 flip of the switch? Is this a complete can light or just the bulb? I like that mood light feature
