Simrad GO5 XSE - Accuracy Issue

Did you ever have any luck with the engine data showing up?

Nope. A guy from SIMRAD helped make sure that my N2K backbone was setup correctly and then another member here helped me find the correct hardware to make a connecting plug for the N2K plug I found near the engine. Yamaha has not responded to any phone messages, emails.... My thinking is that the info sent from the engine to the dashboard is in a proprietary language which the gauges read out, but cannot be interpreted by the GO7.

Check out post #30 for good info on Yamaha N2K connectivity:

This was quite a let down for me as I wanted to fab up a new dash plate and inset the GO7 into the dash. Fishfinder, GPS, Maps, Gauges all in a multi function GO7 display. Only way to do it now is to buy all the sensors and tie them into the Go7. I've lost my will to do it.
