I have a 255 FSH. Do you guys leave the snap in mats when you trailer on highways?

I heard that is a good way to lose them so I either remove or put the mooring cover on.

That’s what I figured. Better safe then sorry right.

Someone posted last week on a FB page about finding a mat in the road - not sure if it was even from a Yamaha.

I'd trailer with the cover on if you are going to be on the highway....

On this topic...

Does anyone have a recommended source for replacements? I took delivery of my 2021 FSH 255 in December, and we put it in the water a couple of weeks ago. Seems we were missing one of the button down mats. Jet boat pilot only carries the adhesive style, I believe.

TIA

I lost one the day I bought it trailering with them in. Lesson learned...

I took mine out and trailered w/o the mooring cover on the way home from the dealer, per the dealers recommendation. But it's a pain in the butt putting them back in so I decided I'd just leave them in and trailer with the cover on.

I have been trailering with them snapped in…. Highway speeds for about an hour no issues…. So far
