I kicked my pump while swimming today. Still hurts, I thought I didn't have to worry about that with no out drive anymore...:inpain:

lol now I don't feel so bad!

Not many know this but I had a big bruise on my right shoulder for the entire Bimini trip and perhaps a week afterward. I was so excited by the relatively smooth water and on several occasions I let go and turned around to count the boats in my group as we hit a wake hard then bounced off of the windshield.

Ouch. Always better than the channel 16 USCG getting a large charter boat to assist with a boat who had someone "wrapped in a propeller,"

Ouch!

While flushing the engines out I broke my toe a couple of weeks ago dashing through the pass thru to turn the hose on after starting the engine. Glad my passengers were up at the house. It sucks watching a grown man cry in his beer.

How about bonking your head on tower speakers?

What about leaving the ski locker handle up and smashing you toes against it.

Ouch... Isn't that latch spring loaded? Mine is.

Yup been there too! My buddy left the latch up and I didn't notice it. BAM! New curse words were made that day.

I quickly got tired of rushing to the faucet during the flushing at the marina. Now i just leave a water hose shut off valve attached to my flushing adapter. Turn on water (with valve shutoff) before i get into boat, start engine, reach over and open valve, kick back for a few minutes while it flushes, turn off valve, couple of engine revs, done. I bought two of these and just leave them on the boat attached to the flush adapters. FYI, i really like the yahama adapter that has the short red hose better than the one that is just the black plastic nipple.

I have mine attached to the small coiled hose I keep in my boat box. When attached to my Salt Away dispenser it sits in the table leg holder on the swim platform so I only need to jump through the pass thru to turn water on and off. I like your idea though @gpp7824. This is my first year doing it on a boat lift. Maybe I'll change my procedure while I still have 9 good toes left.

I've popped a rib by leaning over the side and pulling up my anchor. It seems that the starboard top edge of my boat fits neatly in between two of my ribs. I know this for a fact because I did it two years in a row :(

On my old boat, clean-out plug was stuck, and needed to get it out as had sucked up some weeds and was dead in the water in the middle of the lake, by myself. My genius idea was to wrap my ski rope around it, and use the ski handle to get better leverage. Worked great until it popped up and fell off the back of the boat :)

Yup...I held back as my 2yo and 3.5yo kids were there. I was like a duck on the pond...calm above the water below kicking like crazy.

I got seadeck burn on my knees :):):):):):):):):)

I still have the burn marks on my knees and elbows from crawling in the rear storage compartments removing the tower stop washers. Granted it wasn't SeaDeck but that marine carpet + fiberglass ain't no joke! Who needs a tattoo when really all you have to do is go roll around your boat!

I believe @justason is bragging about getting his burn via more pleasurable activity.

Yea I think so too hehe.

I also had different kind of pleasure in doing mine......once I realized I could fit my boat in my garage! All that sweat and itching was worth it. Ok that sounds so wrong lol
