So I just replaced my calipers, rotors and pads. Everything went fine and the reverse brake lockout was working fine for a day. When we got home from a trip, the reverse lockout does not engage when it go up the driveway which has a slight incline. No issues on flat roads.

Any thoughts?
Nick

So are you saying that when you back up
Now on a slight incline the brakes lock up because the electric bypass is not working correctly?

Try the key in the slot to determine if the issue might be with your electrical hookup. I know the socket on my car needs a periodic cleaning sometimes, which can cause the symptoms you're describing.

That's the simple check to rule out vehicle issues, and narrow it down to just the trailer.

Yes. They work fine on a level road. The slight incline, brakes lock up.

Tried that already and no issues with the key in the slot. Checked the wires, connections. It is only on an incline.

If you don't have any issues with the key in the slot, you have a wiring issue most likely.

The solenoid bypass gets its power from the back up lights on your tow vehicles 7 pin connector. If it was me I’d start by checking to see if you have back up light power at the tow vehicles 7 pin. No power? Check the tow vehicles back up light fuse then proceed to looking for a wiring issue as @HangOutdoors suggests.
