Weight loss sure will help. I always struggle getting out of the water the first time on a slalom ski each year. Dropped 12 lbs and popped out on the first try....best advice I ever got was to close my eyes and do it by feel. I was always trying to stand up too soon.

Looking at this photo it appears you changed how your bimini goes up? Is it attached to the tower?

Is that with a left turn or straight?

Left turn. More weight means more throttle which means more jet wash. I seen your video @Backwash and it looked like you were going straight. Riding goofy side has its advantages.

I would much rather ride regular, but the wife rides goofy and I gave up on that battle. Too much work moving weight around. LOL. I just started riding straight. She did last year. Its a fine line on the weight.

My wife rides goofy and we have been taking turns riding it. We still do circles though. On a skim board I can go ropeless now goofy, but it take a few runs to get comfortable. I swear the AR230's throw a better goofy wake than regular when weighted the same. Maybe its the weight of the driver, the revolution of the impellers, I don't know. My boat just falls into the sweetest wake in circles. I tell my wife the boat knows who its real owner is!

Hey @farrelltravis , kuddo's on the weight loss! A belly counter balance has some advantages surfing, but your trimmed down size will absolutely make it easier to get up and you'll have more board choices for riding.

Yea with the wet sounds it wouldn't fit , so I modified it got to have tunes when your riding it makes it a whole new experience !!!!

Nope boat was dry as a bone when I pulled the plug, amazingly.

That being said did you seal the area behind the rubrail? Or are our boats already sealed? I'm assuming this is where the hull sections join on our boats?

I didn't seal it but our boats seem to be hit or miss if they leak at the rub rail or not.
