USB Audio 2022 252SE

Coming from a 2016 242 Limited S Eseries. On that boat, iPhone could charge and play music through USB port on port side. Just bought a 2022 252. USB port on helm charges, but no input option for USB, just Bluetooth. Did they eliminate this feature on the new Connex system last year? Seems like a step backwards in 2022 to not have usb audio.

They all say "USB/AUX Input" on the specifications page....but sometimes they have mistakes that are carryovers from other model years. Do you perhaps have to manually switch to USB input???

I don’t think the new boats support USB, only Aux or Bluetooth. Seems odd they don’t have this feature. My 2016 242 did have it. Disappointed, USB is better sound than Bluetooth.

Now that makes sense !!!! I thought my USB was defective- it would charge my phone but can only ply music via Bluetooth!!!

They quietly deprecated that feature along with the bimini charger panel.

I have a 2022 AR 190. When I plug my phone up to the USB while the stereo is on Bluetooth or radio, it automatically switches over to say "reading" until I manually put it back.
