When to take delivery of 1st boat

I remember my first boat and completely understand where you're coming from. Takes a lot of courage to make such a large purchase with 0 experience. Specially with all the negative things people can say about owning a boat in general.

I would recommend taking delivery of your boat now and it's even better that you'll get to garage it. The experience you'll gain simply by sitting in it, playing with the buttons, watching an unlimited number of YouTube videos over the winter will help you get off to a great start in The spring and have a ton of confidence around what your're doing.Confidence is everything for first time boaters. I remember owning my boat for about a week before I dared to take it in the water for the first time. Even then, I had someone with experience tag along with me. You will want that confidence since it sounds like you have little ones. Last thing you want is to be in the water with the family and not know how to recover from an unsafe situation.

Congrats and happy boating!!

We live very close to Falls Lake. About 5 minutes from the Falls Lake Park office off of Creedmoor road.

I hear you, brother. It's the 1st boat for me - never grew up around them. Totally new experience but that will change in about 2-3 weeks.
If you ever need any help there are lots of members in the area.
