ordered a pair of JL 7.7 and another JL 600/6 amp

Lol, you're welcome. You will like them, they fill in an empty sound area very nicely. .

Interesting location. I assume this prevents you from using the anchor holder with an anchor? Do you have a photo of the locker with the speakers installed to show how far they intrude? Did you cover the insides at all?

Here are some better pics of the location. In hindsight I should have moved them lower and moved them closer together. That would've avoided having to cut that lip at the top.

A half inch white spacer ring on the outside would move them completly out of the way of the anchor too! Great idea though!

I noticed yesterday my anchor locker gets pretty full while in a no wake zone, not sure if it supposed to do that, but would concern me with this.

I've contemplated adding a second pair but man I've hit my head already a few times on the one pair I have....guess I need to learn to duck.

Got another trick up my sleeve before I try another set of towers.

Im done dude.... i have no where practical to put speakers anymore.. the 8.8s over power everything. . I am using 2 8x800 amd 1 6x600 amps.. three batteries. .

I feel a 4th amp coming with my phase 3 upgrades and hate to need to add another battery...well see.

Were you only running 2 amps before this...how is your playing time with your current setup?

By the way, was out in Havasu this weekend. Was real nice out there. Perfect weather...93’-95’. Nice 76 ‘ in the evening.
I did hit my head on the second set of 880’s but the sound dulled the pain

I'm working on another "minor" upgrade that should give me what I'm looking for...once I pull the trigger I'll be sure to post pics. If this doesn't work I will be adding another set of 880s.

I got hear both boats yesterday. Drift Aways is pretty darn loud, just heard it from inside. Wallecerbs is just ridiculous. They hooked up the wetlinks I couldn't hear Drift Aways boat anymore. I am coming for these guys, it just might take me a a year or two to catch up lol. I feel bad for anybody at Anclote that tries to keep up.
