If mine were handy they'd be in the mail to you already!!! How do you go about tapping it for the screw....I've never done that but would be willing to give it a try.
I hadn't done it before either, but tapped holes to attach my VHF antenna to the tower and now I'm looking for excuses to tap holes in everything. Super easy, just drill through with a 7/32" bit, and follow through with a 1/4-20 tap set (grabbed on Amazon). Just make sure you're squared up with the surface before you drill.

Just wanted to share what I put together for a flagpole, I've seen a number of different approaches to it, but hadn't seen one that I liked that could support two flags and quickly go up/down.
That’s awesome. I don’t have a 3D printer.. got any spares of those parts made you’d sell?

I'd be happy to print some more - $20 for two pairs?

So, long-term update. The flagpole is not holding up to full-time use. Noticed yesterday that it is starting to bend, not sure how long it will last. Kind of a bummer.

The clamp that goes around the wake tower tube, is it adjustable? Wondering if it or something similar could be made to work on the bimini rails on my SX?? Though with wind from travel, Reinforcement would probably be a mandatory add.

The clamp comes with a number of inserts, though I don't know that it can be adjusted to fit a bimini tube.

I hear ya.. I'm thinking if I did anything like that, I'd likely have to re-enforce the tube in some fashion as I'm thinking the flag blowing around would be to much for it to handle. Probably just do some flat stock near where the mount would be so it spreaders the energy over a larger surface area.

Another option could be attaching flags directly to the bimini. I used this on an older boat, worked quite well.

Just an update, purchased a second flagpole after mine was starting to fatigue. For the second one I inserted a wooden dowel that was about the same I/D as the flagpole (I think it was 3/8), and dabbed some epoxy on it while I was inserting it. Feels much stronger now, and should hopefully prevent any deflection this go around.

Also, the latest version of the flagpole has much thicker foam at the bottom - don't think a setscrew is required any longer.

@seanmclean can you share the file for the flag holder clips? I have access to a 3d printer and would like to give this a try.

Also, for your 2nd pole, I think you said you got the water sports flag again? How does the orange flag come off?

Do you think you could powder coat in the space blue color? I’m not sure I want to do that since the wakeboard racks will still be stainless. But, might be cool?
