2018 Bimini June trip (June 24th - June 30th)

I have a request from Gaylord (current Assistant Manager at Bimini Sands).

“Good morning Bruce I need some assistance if anybody in group is coming Sunday can bring a bag of Merrick dog food I would pay them when they get here that would be great.”

Can anyone help him out?

The July group does not panic with 2 foot seas.

We figured that they seem like the kind of crew that would rather take the hard road. With great forecasts for so many days around our departure it just didn't make sense to pick 15 mph winds and 2-3ft seas when we could get 6 inch seas and 4-5 mph winds but I can see that the July group would prefer the other way.

I can grab a bag today but I would need someone to transport it as my ski is already packed to the gills

Look you
2017 predicted 2ft seas
You remember how that turned out, right?
Lol:eek::cool::happy:

@Betik will be wearing his favorite helmet for the crossing this year! He likes excitement!

i can do this as an option. (we're same group logistically) and if my memory keeps I'll snag a bag too....

For folks that want to clear Customs and Immigration at Bimini Sands, there will on be Customs on site, to clear Immigrations you will have to take a cab ride over to the airort.

I believe so, we have a 2 bedroom with a loft, and there is typically plenty of floor space and at least one couch. Also, depending how the loft is laid out there might be room up there, we will have 2 boys (8, 10) up there. sometimes there is multiple beds there, won't know until we get there.

I'll bring some air mattress to help out.

@Andy S now that @Sbrown is set don't give that space away consider it taken not sure if it by me or @Ramblin Wreck yet but one of can use it now that my family has bailed on the trip there is no need for him and I to rent a unit for one night if we can crash somewhere. Between you and @bronze_10 I think we can get us set up for Sunday night if you don't mind.

FUEL: whats the gut feel, or can anything be validated for Bimini having fuel on hand when we arrive? I really really don't want to pack a couple fuel jugs

I have a fold out available. maybe 2..... or at least a foldout and a couch. (anyone else pending a bed?)

One more question: The shirts we ordered were supposed to be handed out at the captain's meeting and also the immigration forms. New plan since some of us won't be at Bahia Mar?

I'll have the shirts at Bahia for the captains meeting. If you can't pick them up there, we'll get them to you in Bimini.

The space is now saved for you and @Ramblin Wreck. Someone will house you guys for the night.

So added my room yesterday for sunday night... Today I have a charge on my cc for 419 bucks.. Is that right for one night? 2 bed room with loft?
