I'd like to thank all the admins here for creating such a great space and community here for everyone. Jet boat owners or otherwise, I enjoy socializing here and spend probably too much time here throughout the day.

I never joined the "other forum" other than on Facebook. I was posting on the few Yamaha and Facebook groups that I'm a part of this morning about a 4th of July discount available on my Transom Watersports site and noticed the YJB group had vanished from my list. So apparently I was booted...? Lol! I really don't feel bad about it... I thought maybe I'd get some kind of snarky warning first... but whatever.

I just wanted to say that I trust the admins here and specifically @Bruce, who I think moderates the FB page for the forum. That he/they would politely correct me if my posts were in violation if the group's terms.

Although I have made use of the forum to advertise my watersports products, I like to think of myself as a member and friend here first. I hope I'm not an annoyance with my business related postings.

Anyway, thanks again!

I’ve always thought of you as a member first from all your contributions to post. I hardly ever see you promoting unless your telling people here you can save them money or your having a sale. I’m to old to wake surf so your probably one of the only vendor members I haven’t bought from. I try to use local merchants around home to keep money in their pockets and because I like them. I’ve improved my steering, shifter and got a great anchor from this forum as well as a wealth of information from those vendors. So with all that said I don’t think your offending us in any way.

This is what caused us to create this forum in the first place....members getting banned without warning and in secret. Our policy requires 2 or more admins to discuss any such action, and for us to publicize any such decisions. And of course we have developed guidelines and discuss issues with the members if we have them. But thankfully we haven't had many problems. @J-RAD we welcome vendors....thanks for your participation!

Thanks @Weeb!

darn. long live J-Rad!

I was actually allowed to join the page so I thought WOW Brian has turned over a new leaf haaaa it didn't last very long he wants to control the truth and live a lie I guess but it is the internet where you never know who or WHAT you are conversing with

All the admins here share admin duties on the Facebook groups to the extent that we participate in Facebook. Fortunately the forum and Facebook groups rarely cause work for us.

My observation is that Brian wants a cut of anything marketed through YJB while we want any discounts to go to the members.

Glad to have you here.

I wasn't removed yet but my post was removed I made under my name within 30 mins of just Jerry surfing. I wasn't doing any advertising guess I am not even allowed to show my boating activities ? ? ?

Can you claim the badge for being banned for being banned from the FB page? Seems fair that you should be able to claim that, @J-RAD .

And, for the record, I agree, our [USERGROUP=3]@Administrative[/USERGROUP] group is great, wonderful and doth rock. I have offered them my thanks before, but it has been too long, so I shall take this opportunity to do so again: Thanks, folks. Very much appreciate what you do for us here.

Thanks!

My first few FB marketing type posts I didn't even bother posting there, knowing a bit of the history I wasn't sure how it would be recieved. I guess I know now... I won't miss it.

[USERGROUP=3]@Administrative[/USERGROUP]

Would like to echo the voices of others in thanking the admin staff for there efforts and general outlook.

Is there a mechanism in place where us regular members can contribute to the costs of operation? Both monetarily and workload. Volunteer system of some sort?

I was never banned from YJB. I just decided to leave for here to be with friends.
