Read an article from a doctor in a small Jewish community in upstate NY that has been using the drugs they talked about and he says he's seen a 100% success rate in over 300 people he prescribed the drugs to. Doubt you will find that on MSM news articles as they seem to make the story disappear. YT also deleting the doctors video. 1,000's of others in NY are trying the drugs and some have been saying it's working but you don't read or hear it on MSM. You can search Dr, Vladimir Zelenko coronavirus and find articles. Only MSM site I found was Washington Post but ironically (dripping in sarcasm) you can't get past their subscriber wall to read it.

I was able to read the post article:

Basically it says his study is unproven and warrants further clinical trials. Zelenko is at the epicenter of the problem in NY, so I would think if he was 100% successful, his neighborhood wouldn't be an epicenter.....

Doesn't hurt to hope.....but the science needs to prove it.

Of course they are going to say it's unproven as it goes against the $$$ narrative of doom and gloom. He prescribed it to hundreds of people infected in his community and said it looks to work. Of course larger numbers will tell more of the story and they have been giving to thousands of people in NY so far and other reports outside of his Jewish community say they see improvements. I think it was an area in or near the Bronx (sp?) saying they have seen improvement too after using it.

You should copy and paste the article here for those who can't read what the article says. Plus it won't give them hit$.

BTW I can’t be certain since it’s unproven and all lol...

...But I’m pretty sure I had this virus back during Christmas. It was so bad I skipped the family Christmas as I didn’t want to get everyone sick and I could hardly get out of bed without coughing really bad. I remember being very sick and a horrible cough that lasted for weeks. Actually it lasted the entire 2.5 weeks I was off during my end of year work vacation. Hell Im still taking DayQuil on the regular! My daughter got the flu in Jan but had negative flu test report.

If you go on social media and FB you’ll see many other people say from Nov-Jan they came down with this horrible crud and it wiped them out and took a while to recover. Doctors and family care wouldn’t have an answer other than respiratory infection or something along those lines.

I’m a firm believer this stuff was here during that time and no way in hell did it just appear out of nowhere in Wuhan and they had test kits ready to go. Probably was there for many months and they either didn’t tell people out of retaliation and fear or thought they could contain it.

I heard on the radio that some mortgage companies were giving a 3 month mortgage vacation with no fees or penalties, they just push the length of the loan back,
It would probably be worth it to call your provider with the economic uncertainty coming, not sure how that would effect the insurance/tax escrow though

Yeah turns out your best defense is common sense but politics and panic seem to be winning currently

Life would be pretty boring if we didn’t have 24 hour news channels hyping up everyone to go buy 10 years of toilet paper. And the government making uneducated decisions. Ahh, when is ice out??

Here’s my FB rant back on December 22nd. Notice I said I got sick within 2 days after that horrible lady standing behind was coughing and having trouble breathing. They say symptoms for COVID-19 take 2-14 days to show up. That doc in the box was packed and I had to wait hours before being seen. I remember waking up in the middle of the night having trouble breathing and the bed was soaked several nights from having cold sweats. The more I think about this the more I think my daughter and I both had it and that it’s been here for months.

Lots of similar stories now coming out where people say they had “something” that couldn’t be detected or diagnosed as the flu during that time.

yeah it is a consideration. My counter argument is that my ICU was behaving as expected back then and up until a few weeks ago. No uptick in weird ass viral pneumonias. Only now do we see it.

Yes I was talking to my wife about that as well. Possible mutation from then and now? Who knows and I’m certainly no doctor lol.

Also I was wondering since you are in the ICU, how many people with seasonal flu do you guys see each season and do the serious people require ventilators? CDC says we lose approximately 30k people each year in the US to the flu but we never hear about those people or cases. I wonder if those people typically pass away at home or in the hospital? I’m sure you can’t give specific numbers for legal reasons but it just makes me wonder why we never hear about those deaths.

Close friend of ours died from the flu 2 years ago....certainly struck home for us. She was healthy, worked out etc. Died in 5 days.

I hope this Zelenski guy is onto something. But looks like he works at a small clinic (not a hospital), so he's seeing people who arent sick enough to need to go to the hospital. Thus he could stick a Harry Potter wand up every patients ass and say "look....my wand cures 100% of these patients". Because as we've all been pointing out, 98.7 % of patients recover, and if he's not treating the bad ones all his patients would be expected to recover. But again....I hope he's onto something, but not sure his "science" passes the sniff test, and since no medical journals are publishing anything I suspect its anecdotal only.

Sorry for hear the loss of your friend. Does flu kill by eventually turning into pneumonia like this virus does? I don’t typically get the flu but my daughter has had it twice (she is 10 years old). We vaccinate every year but of course always hear the ole flu shot is no guarantee and I guess strands change or they try to make vaccine based off what they expect? Not a doc so don’t know how all that stuff works and it’s over my head at biological side of things.

My wife heard from her company that the man in New Orleans that works for their firm is now thankfully off the ventilator and able to FaceTime with his family. He was off and on the ventilator for 2 weeks!!! I think I read a while back that they have to be carful with ventilators and how long you’re on them. Glad to hear it appears he is making some progress. I think he was one of the first people in New Orleans with the virus and is just now off ventilator. Wow!

I guess time will tell for the meds they are trying all over NY since apparently they are the first state to try them out.

Covid-19 patients spend 7-21 days on a ventilator according to the ABC world news piece I saw the other day. That is a lot longer than docs want because as you said, one becomes dependent on it after a while. It's like being bed bound....spend a week+ in bed and you start to lose muscle strength and have difficulty walking!

Our friend got the flu, her immune system when into overdrive and she developed sepsis. She was sick over the weekend and didnt want to go to the ER, so waited until Monday morning to see her doc....ended up in the ER anyway....died on Thursday. I will now never miss my flu shot! (She didnt get one). They say even if you get the flu it's less severe if you've had the shot.

I don't have the time to post a real response, nor do I really want to engage, but...

Do you actually appreciate the fact those viruses can be genealogy-ed just like a family of people? In other words, we can tell what strain/minor variants popped where and when - no guessing.
It's not difficult. Those things are only about 30kb (30,000 base pairs) of nucleic acid to analyze - a triviality to sequence and read/align nowadays.

Just like the bullshit about those latest virus leaking out of some engineered Chinese bioweapons programs (which is demonstrably false) tyhose contentions are gossip, and anecdotal evidence is just that.
Liz Cheney said it just last week, if the health care system gets overwhelmed the economy as we know it will cease to exist (I'm paraphrasing). She is about as liberal as I. (not liberal)

Oh man sepsis is bad!! When I had diverticulitis that was my biggest fear if it leaking into my body outside of my intestines. My coworker had his rupture while in the ICU (he ate foods when he wasn’t supposed to inside the hospital) and had a rupture. They ended up having to cut him open from belly button to upper chest, wash his organs and insides on the table. Horrible scar! Of course when I got diverticulitis and multiple trips to the ER then eventually having a colon resection that is all I could think of. Well that and a colostomy bag! Wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.

@swatski I have no idea what you’re saying lol. Going to need you to ELI5 for me. Is that an El Jefe?
