Figure we should work on this list.

1. Tow points on the side of the towers for surfing.
2. Surf pockets in the Bimini cover.
3. 220 or 230 if they make this let’s make it fit in a 8’ door with the tower down.
4. Push button WakeBooster’s on all ballast boats.
5. Better audio controls on the E series boats.

Trailer, ugh! Just charge more and set the trailer up right.

5. Oh yeah a bow roller that doesn’t scratch the boat.
6. LED lights on all trailers.
7. Radial tires.
8. A heavier duty Jack stand.
9. Quick release transom straps.

I’m sure I’m missing some great ideas.

#9 is standard on the higher end models.

Yeah but they are still cheap, lol. Don’t take it the wrong way a huge Yamaha fan but the trailers are a joke! At the end of the day this would cost very little from the factory to improve these items on the trailer.

Aside from the obvious big price hike for these, number 1 would lead to idiots towing 3 people, ripping the tower off the boat and then complaining that the towers suck.

Meh...I tried to source another roller but couldn't get one up here. And in two seasons of use the roller has not marked my boat at all, but we don't power load and rub against the roller.

That would be nice...I plan to change the rear lights at some point.

Make sure you buy the Shorelander ones, you can just plug them in so you don’t have to splice the wires.

Yup that's the plan - plug and play...if I can get them up here.

Nice wish list.

Only one I would add is better sound dampening.

Btw - What’s the benefit of side tow points?? Doesn’t seem inconvenient having it in the center.

I would add the following wish list:
  • Closed cooling system
  • Pre-installed Tubes/conduits for future use for cables between stern, helm, tower and bow.
  • Pre-installed power distribution block/busbar under the helm for future expansion.
  • Trailer reverse camera:winkingthumbsup"
  • Pre-installed plumbing (optional)
  • Replace flexible cooling hoses/clamps with better quality.
  • Resolve the cooling water line issue while towing. May be a check valve or something
this is enough for now :angelic:

I’m not a 100% sure as I have only seen this on new Surf boats. The benefits I can think of:
1. I think this would allow inexperienced riders to get up and not be right next to the wake.
2. This would be great for inexperienced riders to stay away from the jet spray, as they are doing everything they can just to get up.
3. This might minimize my worries with the rope in the seating area.
There might be more as well, I just thought it was a cool idea.

Honestly if you can’t find them or get them PM me. I could buy them and a bow roller for you and then ship it to you. No fee, just at whatever it costs me.

I have some cheap Amazon LEDs I spliced in with heat shrink connectors. No issues yet.

#9 - my tow straps lasted about 6 months. They stainless steel replacements are light years better.
I agree with everything about the trailer.

For wake surfing it is nice to have the tow point off to the side. But easy enough to work around. Just connect your rope to the normal tower tow point and route it through a side bar on the tower.

Brilliant!!

Thanks for the generous offer...I'll keep that in mind if needed.

ACK!
I can see it now...youtube videos of towers ripping off.
:D

Still looking for the 22' footer or 23' depending on whether they round up or down......

i would like for them to have a hardtop for the 25ft
Based on the fact that you basically need a pull barn to store the 25’ers as they are so high on a trailer, I like the idea.

they should make a patented design where the hardtop on the 25 ft wake series transform the boat into enclosed cabin. like how the roof operates on a convertable car, you know but without the full enclosure of the aft section of the boat. Basically folding the hardtop wake tower down.

That would be awesome.
