So... you use the pump to DEFLATE the tube, rather than having it be a chore that kids lie on top of the tube until it deflates at the end of the day. GOT IT! rarely a day goes by this site fails to make me feel stupid and elated at the same time!
I have not used it to deflate a tube....I feel that having all the kids squish it on the swim deck gives them something to do. Then they all have to roll it up at the same time - I'm talking about the giant Bandwagon 2+2 - this thing is a small boat! Any tube you can easily walk around on....falls in the small boat classification!
Bumping this thread: Any new 12v, cig lighter adapter, air inflation/deflation devices you all are using? Seems to be the same model, different branding, on Amazon/Overtons.
This is what I use. Simply because Ryobi makes so many different items using the same battery. It'll inflate and deflate . Also 2 different size nozzlesView attachment 123101
I bought this Intex electric air pump because it was cheap and fast. This pump has been amazing. Everything we’ve filled filled fast, and somehow this has all the nozzles we’ve needed. I look at versatility when weighing my options. This one is a blessing in that regard because I’ve been looking for an all-around air pump that can blow up my raft and car tires. Furthermore, it can inflate my kids’ toy balls and balloons or my wife’s favorite mattress. So every time I go boating, I bring it along with me, at least, if it’s available.
