I've never ordered anything via Alexa and I didn't see any way to confirm what the heck she was indeed going to order.....like....what she thinks is in a Lutron Lighting kit?
Google amazon Alexa deals. One of the top links will be all of Alexa's current deals. The lutron lighting kit is listed. You can also ask her about any of her deals.
When you ask Alexa to order the "lutron lighting kit" she will quote you the price then ask "do you want to order". You can also ask her to list her deals authough I don't think she will list them all.

Awesome! It has some nice features, also check out IFTTT. It's an app that lets you build custom actions across all smart devices (nest, hue, lutron, Alexa, etc...). Example you can program when your Nest smoke alarm is triggered turn on all the lights. Or I can say "Alexa trigger show time" and it will turn off the lights and turn on my subwoofer.
Not long ago all of the wifi controllable wall switches were too big to fit in multi-gang wall plates. Is this true with the lutron switches listed in this thread?
I am using Z wave switches with a Smartthings Hub + Alexa. The z wave switches fit just fine in the boxes. Not sure on the Lutron switches but I suspect they will need a neutral wire to work just like the z wave switches. Older homes usually don't have them. My 90s built home has neutral wires in the boxes.

Lutron switch communicate back to the "Bridge" that uses WiFi/ethernet. The wall switches themselves are the same size as what you'd expect, like a regular dimmer.
ok....so now I'm hooked on these Lutron switches....I have to find somewhere I can buy a bunch in bulk for a reduced price!!!! The 3 way switch concept with remote is a cool idea! But I need MORE switches....
Yet another way this forum has cost me money!!!! LOL
If you think caseta is cool, it's just a gateway for RadioRA2 (which you can DIY) and Homeworks (which you can't DIY). Both give you much more flexibility and size of devices controlled.
I have Ra2 in my house and love it, especially the six button keypads.
