Bimini 2014-June 22

Looks like Bimini is going to be a bit crowded while we are there....

Here is the first proof of the proposed 2014 Bimini Fling shirt.

Two items I have already requested are 1) on the back to change "Bimini" to "2014 Bimini Fling" and 2) on the graphic if they could remove/color over the numbers and "?".

Let me know what you think of the shirt design so far.

I love the design! What kind of shirts are we going with? Do you need sizes?

They can print on any of the shirts that are in Julian's swag list, cotton tee's, cool-dry tee's, Polo's, etc. I will find out the exact shirt details and post back once the design is finalized.
My initial thought was to have each boat order their own from BigFrog, this way they can get exactly what they want and have it before you start heading to Fort Lauderdale. I can put together a spreadsheet order form just like Julian's so each boat can order whatever they want. I am open to suggestions on what would be best for the group.

@RobA I was on the Guy Harvey website. I haven't really looked until now, but I guess guy harvey walked away from the other resort on North Bimini. They now list Bimini Sands as one of their "destinations". This could be fun, but get your seat at the bar early!!! :winkingthumbsup"

@waterboy Right?? I cant figure out if I like that this is going on, or if it will be intrusive? I was hoping that this trip would be somewhat of a lower key, peaceful trip. But there is always the "more the merrier" argument...

I guess crashing a pirate party on the last night wont be a terrible thing....:jimlad:

@RobA I guess that's what I am thinking. Low key all week and maybe a blow out for the last night at the pirate party.

You know it's going to be crowded there no matter what. Heck it's Bimini in the summertime!!! I think the Whaler group or someone is the week before. It is probably a constant stream of boats going there all summer. Give in and enjoy

Great Job Andy !! I think your comments on changes are spot on. In your spread sheet statement are you suggesting that each boat can order its own color of shirt, or just manage the order themselves, and shirts are a single color?

IMHO I think all the shirts should be the same color...
GREAT JOB Andy !

GREAT JOB Andy !
Either way works for me, one color for everyone or each boat chooses the shirt color.

I think 60 Plus shirts all in the same color would make it look like a well organized event !

assuming everybody would want a shirt...

Now the question is what color shirt is we go with one color, something bright or just white?

Honestly I think we are going to do our own shirts with nicknames and such. I do think the shirt you designed is great though!

We are in for four of the group shirts.

BRIGHT........White is short lived in my environments.. Our count would be 5 (3@XL, 2@med)

From the colors Hanes has it looks light the brightest color would be the yellow.

I prefer to pick our own colors honestly.

Are we still doing our own orders Andy?

I am open to anything all the same color, individual boat orders, etc. @tim h mentioned all of us in one uniform color and I was trying to get a feel for what people wanted. Trying to get a consensus with 14 different boats might be tough. Maybe we/someone can decided on a primary shirt color and then each boat can decided if they want to or not have that primary shirt color.
