Holder of the Scupper Wrenches

Completed my scupper replacement....took lots of photos and will post when I get some time....next up....port side reverse gate cable!

Things I learned while doing this:

1. You have to remove the water box to have any easy way to do this. But it ain't hard
2. disconnect the scupper hose at the cockpit so you can connect the stern part outside the boat (I have photos)....not sure if everyone else did this...but I can't imagine trying to put that f'ing hose on down inside the bilge, even with the water box out of the way.
3. cover up the stern of the boat....its a messy job
4. Ideally have two people to do it....it can be done with one...but two would be so much easier and faster!

Also, I think my scupper was cracked....which explains why I started getting water in the stern in the last year. When I went to remove it, I twisted and it cracked apart with ease.

Lol! I had that wrench on my workbench all last winter and sent it to someone in the spring. I'll pass for now.

Anyone got a Scupper wrench? I just ordered my scupper to be replaced before this season... I also had to order a pop-up cleat because one of mine got bent and wouldn't go back in somehow last year... Oh well.... If anyone has one and doesnt need it anymore... let me know please. Thanks!

I also need abscupper wrench in the near future.. I could prob just use a large set of channel lock players if one isn't avalaible.

Oh goodness... give me a week to clean the garage and look for it. Hopefully someone else will come in with one! Mines pretty.... rough, LOL
I basically just QUICKLY cut it out of a sheet of aluminum stock I had laying around but it works!

I put a small bead on the outer edge and a big bead on the inner side....not sure it was needed, but I felt like it would seal better that way.
