I'm no longer semi-banned on YJB

I noticed today that I could make a post without it going into lala land waiting for a moderator to approve it. Brian must have had a change of heart or my time in the penalty box is over. If you've been banned or semi-banned it might be a good time to check. I don't spend much time over there so it's not of much consequence.

I look over there and see whats going on, but this site is WAY better. But I use both to get as much info as possible.

I posted a few responses there today and included some pics tonight. What a pita, I had to make sure the pics were under the max and than had to add them one at a time. These are nits but it is nice to be able to post without dealing with little shit like that.

I was bored and ticked enough to go through every one of my posts over there and delete it. Including pics of projects and repairs. The pics were all hosted on photobucket so they only had links to them.

So someone posted something on the YJB FB page on the new warranty that showed up in my feed. I commented on it and posted a link to the JB.net discussion on the subject. My comment was deleted, but I was still receiving notifications on the post so I went back to look, and wouldn't you know it my comment was deleted.

So I posted it again and called them out on it, and they deleted me from the FB Page.

I haven't been able to sleep. . . . .

I was always curious if the FB page was monitored the same way, without being able to post links to this site and all. I now have an answer. I was only given permissions back to read and search but not post. That works for me. Would rather not contribute there any way. I kinda feel bad for those new members that need some solid help/advice and just are not getting what they need. If they have not found their way to this site they are losing out on one of the best benefits of owning a jetboat.

Lets just say things are run much differently here and you see the way its supposed to be. It was not like that at the other site. Beyond that explanation is a waste of time.

I got partially banned over there and believe it was due to mentioning this forum both in public threads and private messages (which aren't private, the moderators read and edits them). I have not tested to see if my partial ban has been lifted, don't really care one way or the other, this forum is a million times better than that one.
