How many feet of rope does it take to bust the fiberglass housing for your pump shaft? About 10 to 15 feet.:arghh:

Oh damn dude, sorry about that, that is probably going to be an expensive fix.

WOW! I don't remember seeing one do that before,

GOD, that sucks. . . . Keep us posted on the repair. Best wishes for a speedy return to the water.

I officially don't feel so bad about my golf ball problem. That sucks. Sorry man.

Oh crap...thats ugly! Sorry to hear this dude. Good luck with the fix.

Shouldnt be too hard to fix. Geting the rope out is being a pain, it is packed in there really good. I need the # for the plastic bushing that goes where all that rope is at, I looked in my book but couldnt find it:banghead:. Any help would be great.

check you PM, Sorry this happened for you man, that looks horrible

WOW. :nailbiting:

That looks all bad too me. I hope you can fix it and get back on the water quickly. Cutting the rope out shouldn't be to hard maybe with a dremel if you can't find a knife or razor blade that will work for you.

You have to pull the pump to repair anyway. I would pull the pump before trying to cut the rope.

@Bruce I had to cut the rope out first, tried pulling the pump first but the rope was so tight it wouldn't let go and kept the pump shaft sucked up to the back of the boat.
