In my experience with the seaweed from the June trip, just clearing it out through the access ports is not enough. A lot of it gets hung up on the intake grates as well and needs to be manually removed from under the boat. We stopped and cleared several times on the way over and on the way back. My daughter went under the boat in Bimini and still pulled two large handfuls out of the intakes. Once on the trailer in Florida after coming back, I pulled another couple of good handfuls off the intake grates as well. This, as I said, was after having stopped to clear weeds from the impellers several times.
Just saying, double check your intake grates if you haven't already done so. You may be surprised at what you find.
