If they are in the boat you need to be very careful about vapors escaping into the hull.

Yes indeed. My thought was to empty the contents and just store the jugs. But even then - a few drops of fuel make lots of vapours.

Or just bungee them down in the bow....if you have a bow cover on...they might help support it...

Here is the updated forecast. The calmest period has moved to Saturday night so Sunday morning is trending upward. The window remains open with tightly spaced 1.2 footers with following seas as long as we get out early Sunday.

Save travels to all both by land and by sea! Enjoy your adventure. This is still something I would love to do, but just does not work out with our annual Outer Banks trip the week after. Be safe!

I overlooked the bow cover and ran out of time to have one made :(
My previous canvas guy retired and i gotta find someone to make a snap down one.
I think the little jugs may even fit in one of the aft wet lockers - but i dont think all our boats have that.

Be safe and enjoy!!! Looking forward to pictures and videos.

250 miles out of 1000....we rollin!!

The H is leaving Williamsburg now! Bimini here we come!
I think I just seen you get off at exit in North Carolina to get gas at the Exxon I was pulling out of the pilot the shell

:winkingthumbsup"[flag]Have a safe travel and crossing everyone! Hope everyone has a great time and I look forward to seeing the photos and vids once y'all return. Eat some fish and drink some adult beverages for me!

First tire ever shredded on the highway... Thankfully, it was slow and we had an easy place nearby to pull over and change it. Currently having lunch while we have the ripped tire rehubbed with a new tire just in case we have another trailer tire issue. Hopefully, that will not be the case, but better to be prepared. We must get back on the road and tally some miles today. Florida here we come!image.jpeg

yall stop in Magee or Richland?

We are now at exit 20. Where are you now? This is the first mate while the captain is manning the wheel.
How far do you plan on going today? We're thinking St.Augustine.
