Coast guard, FWC and local police all going to try and get a piece of this one. Similar incident to the kayaker and jet skier from last summer in Nassau county. Everyone’s got a camera and taters don’t seem to understand.

I saw this video this morning. There's a full 5 minute video out there as well.

Florida Fish and Wildlife who is also investigating the incident sent this response:
"The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is aware of a boating incident that occurred on April 1 near the Barron Collier Bridge in Punta Gorda. The FWC, Punta Gorda Police Department, and the U.S. Coast Guard are investigating this incident. This is an active investigation, and no further details are available, we will provide an update when we are able to do so."

Coast Guard and local and county PD did the same thing. They must be getting so many calls. Pathfinder boats even put out a statement that they are not affiliated with the captain.

No idea what's going on here, but based on this video, it seems Captain Squarenuts got cursed at, is that really all this is about? There's GOT to be more to this than him losing his shit over being cursed at. At the very least, this "kid" is reasonable, even after this guy boarding his boat. That's an awful dangerous assumption to think there's no possibility that you're gonna be leaving that boat without a deadly encounter. If I'm that kid, and I have a gaffe or something else, I'm damn sure not letting him board my boat, no matter WHAT the reason, given his demeanor.

Hard to believe there's people who are amazed that people carry while on their boat, with bullshit like this available to see.

Agreed with the 5 adults. No matter WHAT happened, that guy's reaction seems to be wildly disproportionate to every one of those 5 and their demeanor, so I'm going with "that guy's cheese done slid off his cracker". There's no way FIVE guys don't have a single cell phone, call the emmer effing cops and have them come out to settle that shit, and at least get home safely. NO WAY I trust that clown with my safety any longer at that point.

There are a ton of videos even one from a passenger of the boat that was there to video the fishing trip, Once he stepped on the boat uninvited and threatened the boat owner he shot himself in the foot and probably a few other places. There was also a post from another charter captain who has the same last name and a similar boat out of South Florida who is getting blasted from people who think he was the one involved. And now people are posting funny pictures 1743771995205.png I read that the original video had 7 million views the first day. Now it's over 13 million views
