Some of you long time Yamaha owners may know him as Gene, some may know him as HMFIC - his screen name on the other site.

Gene and I go back to my first days with the Yamaha...he pre-dates my Yamaha ownership by a year, having the 2003 SR230.

Gene went into the hospital yesterday for a heart valve replacement and I'm praying for a speedy recovery. He probably wouldn't approve of this post, being the type of guy he is...but heck, my prayers alone just don't seem to me to be enough when someone's going through something like that.

So Gene, get better buddy, Kate needs you. After 32 years you can't deprive her of your rapier wit! ;)

In my prayers...

it's amazing what we can do today and take for granted, from a 3rd party perspective a heart valve replacement is probably has less stress than a scupper valve but that never helps when your involved with the person going thru it.

Get well soon HMFIC and maybe this will be your motivation to get on JBN!

Get well soon HMFIC, Gene, you motivated many of us over the years and we are looking forward to your fast recovery...and as you are, we are here at jetboaters.net to help you pass the recovery time! I always remember the old adage...everything is minor surgery unless it is being performed on you! Get well soon Gene, you have a bunch of guys and gals thinking about you now!

Get well soon!! I have had heart valve surgery.....and it is no fun! Are thoughts are with your family.

Keeping him in our Prayers. Get well soon Gene.

Prayers man!

I'll be on the water this weekend and will definitely raise one for Gene.

Heal Up Gene. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

Gene I don't know you, but starting tonight you and your family are in my prayers. May God guide the hands of your surgeon, comfort your family, and allow you a quick recovery! All the best to you!

Rest up my friend, you'll be back at it in no time! We will be thinking of you.

Thoughts, prayers and good-jet vibes all sent.

Speedy recovery to ya!

Gene,

Thoughts and prayers for you and your family. Please get well soon and get back out on the water. :nurse:
