Midwest neighbor! Is that Lake Icaria?

Yessir, they actually don’t allow jet boats but we decided to do it anyways, rebels I know, haha. We like going to Mozingo Lake in Maryville, MO. It’s a much deeper, larger, and nicer lake.

My friends son was in town and told me he had never caught a lake trout or a walleye…

I hadn’t put a lake trout on my boat since June of last year…

Didn’t fit in the net… it took about 10 mins to land this one.

Both lakers put back and swam away as soon as they hit the water… straight down, back to the 80’ where the got hauled up from.

First walleye and all smiles!

We were supposed to do some tubing on the walleye day but it was just a bit too windy with 2’ wind driven waves.. an awesome two days on the boat..

We’ve thought about coming down to Smithville eventually! I’ll let you know if we ever do. Ramp fees there are expensive I think?

Blowing off the spider webs on the maiden voyage on the 1985 Boston Whaler yesterday. We picked her up 20 mins. before. Gonna be a build/restore fishing project. Bunch of mods planned...ordered Stryker T-top and Cannon downrigger last night.
