"Ozark" New Netflix Series

On season 1 episode 3 and I spotted a Yamaha.

I was bummed when all of season 2 was placed in the fall. Boats were scarce cept when Ruth did donuts at the marina in the boat. Lol

Just finished yesterday.. excellent season overall but a little bit too dramatic where it didn't need to be. Ending... seemed a little dull after how much distress they were under. But that might be because it took my wife and I 3 attempts to complete it. fall asleep, rewind fall asleep, rewind.... repeat.

cartel lawyer...she scares me. LOL couple folks have been offed that I wont miss.... funny how this show makes you really root for what is essentially, the bad guys. so dark.

I had listened to Bateman on a podcast... He was saying that was part of his design. the lighting, the dark but lovable characters. The show idea was apparently left as a throwaway, until he found it.

I was hoping one person was going to be offed, and I thought it was going to happen, but it was just another twist!

I see it as rooting for the good bad guys
I usually don’t get into tv series but this one has me.

same here! At some points, it makes me feel dirty lol. like yeah.... someone kill that FBI agent!

Started watching this last week, due partly because of this thread.... Was watching I think Episode 5 season 1 last night.... There is a scene where a newer Yamaha races past a big cabin cruiser, but the sound affect is like a 30' Baja over the water exhaust. made me laugh, my wife says I was weird for even noticing HAAHAA!

Right? Said to my wife there was a zero percent chance a boat like that is running a FLIR system. Not sure why they just didn't use a decent sized cruiser for that scene.

When my wife and I do covert ops, we have a FLIR like that on our boat. There's nothing like looking at green boobs through a FLIR camera. But a normal radar mount would be enough so I thought the FLIR thing funny. Good show so far.

I think it had more to do with lack of sleep... went back and rewatched last couple eps-so good.

well be in osage beach tomorrow through Monday for the family "early thanksgiving"! (we all work our faces off starting this time of year, so we do an additional one.) Bro in law asked in group text, what I thought the weather would be like, because temps are dropping into the low-mid 70's with a front moving through. my response:

"Its been 90+ there endlessly for 3 months. water will be extra warm. Cold early mornings will make for fog, thats perfect for cruising across the lake to hide a body. Hope our condo has hollow walls, i'm bringing a bag of cash"

my sisters reply: "just be careful 'round them docks -*lightning bolt emoji*- Russ was f***in rat, look how far that got 'im"

Down in Osage Beach, someone has opened a club and named it "marty byrdes" LOL it's out on the old strip.

This has been a great show. I’m sad because I binged over the past couple of days and now I only have 3 episodes left of season 2

I’d love to check this lake out and see the cafe sometime.

Yeah...the FLIR thing was dumb....why not just have them steal a Radar or even a nice big GPS?

That said....really enjoyed this show....now I need to find another good one to watch!

I heard a BBQ place bought the restaurant so they wont be filming there for season 3. Many of the water shots for season 2 were on Lanier vs Allatoona but both are pretty nice. I wonder if they will shift more of the filming to Lanier. They can put that casino and Margaritaville/Lanier Island.
