Does it mention how it's a violation of his contract. So the guy does a lot of charity work, why is it so bad to answer a few questions to fulfill his contractual obligation? If he's such a class act he sure doesn't show it.

I sure hope if Brady looses he doesn't have another temper tantrum on the field yelling the f bomb . People are calling him " Cry Brady".
I think a large part of the population is hoping they loose . I personally don't care, I Just wish the N F L would get things under control and get back to football without coaches interfering with runners on the side line ,

If the quarterback or the coach had nothing to do with this then why wouldn't they be upset over the fact that it occurred not over the fact that people suspect them. Since it makes them look GUILTY it would make one believe they would stop at nothing to, clear their names.
I would believe that they would be demanding that someone get to the bottom of it and also volunteer to take a polygraph , or even demand one. Then challenge anyone else who is suspect to do the same.
The more people try to cover it up the worse it stinks. the N F L has it all over themselves and it is not going to go away. Regardless of the score CHEATERS NEVER WIN! And the fans LOOSE!

My question on the whole ball controversy: why do the teams have anything to do with the balls?

Yeah...you'd think that with something as important as a ball....they teams wouldn't have ANYTHING to do with them other than being handed one at the beginning of each play!

In most other sports, cheating is an instant DQ....too much money in this one, and apparently no rule/oversight of the ball pressures during a game. There should be checks and rules. If your balls are found to be low, 20 yard penalty and loss of down. Make the teams accountable with a clear rule/penalty. Happens a 2nd time, possession is turned over, 3rd time - forfeit the game etc. Since none of that exists, they get away with cheating (or at least taking advantage of poor rule enforcement)
