I have been reviewing the forum for a few weeks, Thanks to everyone for all the info and post, they have been very helpful!
Love the new boat, can't wait to get it out on the water... I had an LS2000 13 years ago, and a pair of GP800's about 10ish years ago, looking forward to getting kids out on the water...\
Tim

By the way, @TimBroom ........... Did ya know you purchased a "Collector's" color choice ?
This is NOT a joke ............ The graphics on YOUR 2015 242LS were ONLY done on a FEW Yacht Blue (and in only that color choice) 2015 hulls before Yamaha went permanently with the more subdued side graphics for the 2015 242's. NICE GOING, Son ! Well done !

"Did ya know you purchased a "Collector's" color choice ?"

No idea... :), They mentioned they received it for a boat show in Jan in Jacksonville, FL... maybe that is why... I can let the wife know that it is something "special" :)

Thanks for letting me know... I hope the weather cooperates this weekend for some water testing and practice boat ramp launching before the ramps get crowded.... We always enjoy the boat ramp people watching, where a comment begins "hey check out this one, this is gonna be good"... I just have to be sure I am not "that guy" with "his new boat".... :)

Tim

Congratulations! Beautiful boat! Here's to many wonderful memories being made. :winkingthumbsup"

I agree with you. Boat ramp people watching can be a lot of fun. Some of the shenanigans that go on can be more than funny. I try really hard NOT to be one of those folks and love it when I get a compliment on how good we are at getting the boat in and out of the water. :) I really hope I didn't just jinx myself. lol!

@TimBroom Congratulations! Don't forget to put your location in your profile so you appear on the member map, and so you get notified by members near you if a gathering is organized! You can be as generic or specific as you like (if you are in a big city if you add your zipcode it puts the marker closer to your actual location....like me in Raleigh)

I'm jealous of your boat BTW! Need to get my wife on one!

Gainesville, FL... I will update my profile...

Thanks!
