Further, why do I need my Safeway “club” card to get the good pricing on select items? So let me get this straight, if I don’t use my club card so the store cant use my purchasing history in their demographics I have to pay a penalty of the non discounted prices? Got it. Thanks I’ll just shop at Sams where I pay $100 bucks a year for the membership and so far this year I have almost $600 in Sams cash back, while I’m buying stuff at about half the price of Safeway And since I use the Sams master card I get 5% on all fuel purchases up to $6000 a year no matter where I buy the fuel.
