So, has anyone explored any options for re-boarding your boat from the water? I love my boat, but the rear boarding ladder is barely working for me anymore.
I'm getting older and have had several knee surgeries. Climbing that ladder that tends to swing under the boat, and hauling my fat ass up into the boat is becoming a chore.
Anyone have any ideas or try anything new??
(And please don't respond with "Eat a carrot!") 😆

What's your boat?

My ladder stays propped outward and it's easy to use even out of the water. Oem windline.

Maybe something's not quite right with it? Should not swing in.

Mine is pretty straight, i completely understand what you mean. I have seen others that are pitched more at an angle rearward.

2006 SX210 - it does push slightly forward toward the bow with weight on it, but the whole setup with the single boarding strap on the swim platform is terrible. Narrow ladder, one strap to grab onto, takes lot of effort, especially in deeper water.2009-yamaha-boats-sx210-power-9783530-977837329-0-060520250553-5.webp
